BrainSee MRI guide

1.  Acquire brain MRI sequences with your standard protocol and read (report) as you would without BrainSee.

2.  In addition to your routine sequences, acquire a “quantitative-grade”, non-contrast, T1-weighted brain MRI with the following specifications:

  • MPRAGE or IR-FSPGR, 1 mm isotropic (Quantitative-grade resolution, non-contrast T1-weighted, not FLAIR)
  • 3 T or 1.5 T
  • Acceptable alternative: Submillimeter in-plane resolution and up to 1.3 mm axial slice thickness without gaps.

3.  Unless specifically requested by the ordering physician, no quantitative analysis is needed on the additional, high-resolution 3D T1 sequence. BrainSee will take care of it.

4.  Upload the DICOM files into BrainSee by following the instructions provided on the MRI order.  Do NOT upload your image viewer software files.
